The teapot is painted with the classic Apponyi pattern, the Chinese Bouquet. Apponyi has its roots in the oriental design world. After multiple simplifications, the Apponyi – Chinese bouquet design was created 90 years ago (in 2022). The first Apponyi set was a dinner set for 60 people, painted with green paint and gilded edges.
Chinese Bouquet patterns are available on Tea, Coffee, Turkish Coffee, Espresso Sets, and Dinner Services.
