Apponyi – Chinese Bouquet Colours
One of the most known Herend porcelain design is the Apponyi design. It is originated from the Indian Basket design. A simplified version, representing traditional European minimalism. There are many colour variations, which the customer must know, before deciding. Let’s see these options!
Apponyi AV – Apponyi Vert – Green
The original Apponyi decor of Herend Porcelain was the Green with Gold edge. Apponyi AV

Multiple color variants
During the 20th century, multiple colour variations was created.
- AV – Apponyi Green
- AB – Apponyi Blue
- AL – Apponyi Lilac
- ANG – Apponyi Black Gold
- AM – Apponyi Maroon – Apponyi Orange
- AOG – Apponyi Orange Gold
- AJ – Apponyi Yellow
- AP – Apponyi Pink
- AF – Apponyi mixed colours

Apponyi Platinum – ATQ3PT
Chinese Bouquet platinum or Apponyi platinum was born in the 21st century. Herend Porcelain designers started to re-think, redesign the traditional decors of Herend. The master painters started to use 24k platinum.

The first famous dinner set was ordered by Queen Victoria in 1851 at the World Fair. Intrestingly she did not lay the table with Herend plates for diplomats, but only for family.
In 2018 November, we had the honour to organise a Herend Exhibition in Vienna. Many of our customers and visitors did not have a chance to visit this event. We decided to share this experience with you now, through this article.
