About the Royal Garden – Herend design
Modern variations of the VICTORIA, the pattern that brought triumph to Herend Porcelain Manufactory renowned in 2011 that celebrates its 160th Anniversary. Focusing on the Peony, Butterfly and Flower.
In Chinese tradition Butterflies represent Immortality, since Taoism regards Wings as the expression of Eternity. The adorned Wings and Beauty of the magnificent Butterflies symbolize Grace, whereas their Flittering represents the development of the Soul. Both are perfectly complemented by the other decorative components on the VICTORIA pattern porcelain. Colours hold a symbolic meaning. Our relation to certain colours changes with our mood.
Applied to create the Two Versions of the Decoration, the unique pairing of Turquoise EVICT2 and Green EVICT1. The pairing of the two sets of tones are cool and warm colors.
