Belvedere - Herend pattern
 
With its gilded brims and a lobular shape accented with golden stripes, this tea set for two recalls the mood of the first half of the 19th century.
 
The upper brim is decorated with a dotted golden strip, followed by a wide frieze of green fond ornamented with an embossed golden garland.
The frieze is interrupted by gold-rimmed oval medallions with bunches of roses or rosebuds.
 
The gold under paint endows plasticity to the golden garland. The medallions with red petalled rose bunches and golden leaves are painted delicately. In perfect harmony with their form, these objects are gilded with rich lines of gold.
