Silk Brocade-Eglantine EGAVT Herend Porcelain Sets

This Décor finds its place immediately amoung heavy Brocades and ornate Silks. The dense patterns and thick bands are interrupted periodically by the medallions framed in Blue and Wine-Red tones. The pattern, as Lavish as a Giftwrapping, turns every repast into a Special Occasion. This Empire-style Eglantine Décor has been made at Herend since the second half of the 19th Century.

In the centre of each piece is a Gold-Framed string of greenish White Pearls on a Blue ground, circling a meticulously painted spray of Pink Roses. The border is decorated with Exceptional Richness. This Eglantine Variéte (EGAVT) renewed pattern has been given still more Lavish Gilding and Deeper Colours, to maximize its Splendour and Pomp.
