About the design – Queen Victoria VBO
Herend’s most famous pattern, Queen Victoria Green (VBO), comprises many stylized butterflies and springs of blossom painted in cheerful and lively colors. The combination of red, blue, purple, yellow, and green butterflies, flowers, and sprigs makes a cavalcade for the green of a meadow.
This Victoria pattern was unveiled at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851 and scored a huge success. In addition, Queen Victoria ordered a giant table service in this design for Windsor Castle.
